Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer | | The Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer is an important computerized test designed to
map a patient's field of vision for blind areas and vision loss. This test is commonly used for glaucoma diagnosis and management. It can provide a full progression analysis. The visual field test is also used for stroke and traumatic brain injury patients who may have suffered vision loss. Visual fields can detect whether or not a patient's vision is good enough for daily activities including driving. Visual fields are helpful for other eye disease such as macular degeneration, optic neuritis related to multiple sclerosis, and maculopathy related to plaquenil therapy. Results are shared with co-managing physicians when indicated. |
Stratus OCTTM | | The Stratus OCTTM (Optical Coherence Tomography) is designed to perform retinal imaging scans and analysis. The OCT can provide a cross-sectional view of a patient's optic nerve, macula, and the retinal nerve fiber layer. These images are used for diagnosis and management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and optic nerve disease. The OCT can also provide more thorough assessment of pre and post-op cataract patients, detection of macular degeneration, macular holes, edema, and/or other retinal pathologies.
